For nearly 50 years, the Lincoln Children’s Zoo has been connecting children with the wonders of the natural world through playful interaction. It is here that our visitors discover new animals as they explore their way through the natural landscape of the Zoo. Every day, the Zoo strives to fulfill its mission of “enriching lives through firsthand interaction with living things”.

The Lincoln Children’s Zoo is one of five zoos in the country that does not receive any funding from city, county or state entities. We are supported by the sale of admissions, memberships, rides, and vending fees. But we also depend on the generous gifts from individuals like you. These gifts help make the Zoo the incredible family-friendly place it is today.
